Job Summary
The Center for Rural Engagement media intern will use videography, photography, and written pieces to tell the story of rural Indiana and IU's collaboration with communities in the region. A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communications skills, experience using a DSLR camera to create still and motion images, and an ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed.
SKILLS
Required- Knowledge of journalistic and storytelling concepts
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and digital photography/videography.
Working Conditions / Demands
Position schedule is 10-15 hours per week depending level of work flow.
