Description: Our client is currently seeking a IBM iSeries System Admin
Duties:
IBM iSeries system administrator - Perform system administration duties such as PTF admin, subsystem restarts, IBM, BRMS activities, HMC, VIOS, IBM Storage (svc, flash). Working with the Midrange Hosting team to support the Heavy Equipment business unit.
Skills:
- IBM iSeries OS, V5R3
- HMC (use, upgrades, etc)
- BRMS (Advance, Snap update toolkit)
- VIOS (Patches, IPL, saves)
- PTF loads
- IBM Storage
- iDoctor tool, Storage Insgight,
- LPAR builds
- SeaSoft Messager, AOD, Anti-Virus
Education:
- 5 years' experience with IBM i Systems administration
- IBM storage experience
