Job Description:

As a member of the M&D Operations team, the Materials Handler is responsible for inventory management, materials handling, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations. Specific duties include the following:

• Support the receiving and inspecting of incoming and outgoing materials, and shipping/distribution of parts
• Logging and Inspection of returned materials.
• Assist in the movement of materials and inventory between various locations onsite and between offsite locations.
• Support the picking and processing of orders according to priority set by manager in order to meet customer requirements and target dates
• Coordinating with operations team to ensure all scheduled orders are picked and processed in a timely manner
• Ensuring accurate, timely processing of receiving and return materials and kitting jobs
• Replenishing stock, maintaining inventory, and moving items to increase picking efficiency
• Operating Warehouse Equipment; Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, Scales
• Ability to drive and operate company vehicles; van and box truck
• Performing cycle count and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Prioritizing materials based on current schedule/needs
• Verifying and ensuring materials/supplies are properly labeled and stored
• Returning materials to warehouse locations after receipt using material handling equipment
• Following all safety guidelines by maintaining a clean safe warehouse
• Consistently demonstrating and incorporating principals of safety for self and others within daily activities
• Performing data entry and system transactions using Oracle applications
• Ensuring highest quality product deliveries within established lead times
• Assisting team with various projects as needed

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Basic PC skills: Word, Excel, etc.

0-1 years of experience in high volume warehouse environment

Driven, self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail

Good oral and written communication skills

Dedicated/reliable with positive, "can do" attitude

Proficient in shipping processes and specifications both domestically and internationally

Ability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. (with team member assistance).

Ability to drive an automatic vehicle (truck or van) and operate any material handling equipment.

Responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts supplies, and equipment.
