Job Summary
Manages collection, tracking, return, and disposal of items left on UTA property. Interacts with representatives from all UTA departments. Assists customers directly with UTA service. Operates office equipment and uses computer software programs in performing related duties.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE - One year providing customer service to the public with demonstrated competency in verbal and written communication
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One year in a position of trust demonstrating self-management
- Must have a prior acceptable attendance record
- Must have a valid Utah driver's license with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years and no more than 1 conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the past 10 years
Skills: - Type 25 WPM
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to: - Prioritize; make decisions; resolve conflicts; exercise discretion, sensitivity, diplomacy, time management, and self-management
- Function effectively under stress
- Speak a second language preferred
- Lift 50 pounds regularly
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. SLC area
This job requires regular and predictable attendance.
