Job Summary:

In a career as a Facilities Administrative Specialist, you join a team that is changing the lives of youth and families every day. In this position you will provide support for Family Home Program operations. This position also participates in facility inventories, maintenance, and transitions.

Schedule: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Provides support to facilitate smooth operations of Family Homes.

  • Assists with coordinating repairs and maintenance on homes and in developing improvement plans ensuring satisfactory completion of projects.
  • Conducts quarterly health and safety compliance inspection walkthroughs at each occupied home; checks vacant homes several times per week.
  • Introduces, orients, and makes appropriate arrangements for new or transitional Family Teachers; trains on processes and procedures.
  • Drives Boys Town vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance and upkeep.
  • Assists in transitioning Family-Teachers into or out of Family Homes, coordinates household moves, conducts physical inventory, and schedules cleaning crew to ensure that the residence is clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Stages furniture in family homes to present an inviting living environment; may assist in boxing up and moving home items.
  • Travels between offices in local area and to and from campus family homes on a daily basis.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience; previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check.
  • Available to work after hours or weekend duty as needed.
