Controls Engineering Supervisor Responsibilities: Cradle to Grave team project integration responsibility of machine/tool controls with the mechanical design, the electrical/pneumatic circuit design, creation of PLC, safety control, and HMI codesWorking position, and expected to function as needed in the role of Controls EngineerAssigns projects to individual Controls Engineers upon release, and oversees the planning, organization, and implementation of tasks necessary for timely releases to productionProvides training, monitoring, and coordination of activities for the staff and advises and consults closely with the Controls Engineering ManagerPossesses strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, judgment and decision making, and analytical/mathematical proficiency Works in harmony with the mechanical engineering group, as well as other functional teamsControls Engineering Supervisor Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred7+ years of related/progressive experience, plus 3+ years of supervisory experienceIn-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, HMI design, PLC Ladder Logic, industrial networks, electrical codes, Microsoft Office software, and safety requirementsCapable to travel (including international travel) for customer installation, start-up, and training (15% annual avg.
