Salesforce Business Analyst & Functional Consultant
Overview of Position
This role will help define new process within Salesforce in multiple areas including Sales, Account Management, and Implementation. They will also help to combine 4 different functional product businesses that have arisen from the merger of 3 companies. The person in this role should be able to access and document the needs to the business experts, evaluate the existing functions (both in and out of Salesforce) and use operationally sounds business process to create new functionality within a single instance of Salesforce. This role, while reporting directly to the Pharmacy Business Unit, will also need to work collaboratively across the greater organization, Salesforce strategy & IT development to help guide future consolidation of Salesforce instances as the company continues to streamline after multiple acquisitions.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
* Gather and translate business requirements from all areas of the business & determine how to integrate these needs into a strategy and into our Salesforce instance via IT development requests
* Provide Operational efficiency consultation to the business within the parameters of Salesforce and the guides around Change Healthcare Salesforce Governance framework.
* Help to manage SPRINT development priorities and ensuring that the IT Development team is clear on the business expectations.
* Build relationships with the business users and help understand their needs and support their needs to intuitive designs to simply functionality.
* Assist in developing reporting for business needs from Salesforce
* Create process designs and facilitate process mapping across functional areas
* Consult regarding 3rd party tools that might be able to integrate / connect to the Salesforce platform.
* Represent the Pharmacy Business Unit and its Salesforce instance at the Salesforce Framework Governance meetings
What are the requirements needed for this position?
* 10+ years of experience in a matrixed organization
* 5+ years of experience with Salesforce consultation with Sales Operations, Account Management, Workflow Design, and finance
* Demonstrated knowledge in Solutions Analysis, Automation, and Solution Mapping
* Bachelor's Degree required
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
* Functional Salesforce Expert
* Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt
* Ability to influence people and get buy in form stakeholders using positive and collaborative methods
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
General office demands
How much should I expect to travel? Up to 15%
Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
