Work Environment:

Work environments vary by industry and establishment size. Quality inspectors may examine similar products for an entire shift, or the inspector may examine a variety of products.


Inspectors must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.

Inspectors in some industries may stand for long periods of time and may have to lift heavy items.

Workers in heavy-manufacturing plants may be exposed to the noise and grime of machinery.


LOCATION: Louisville, KY


PAY RATE:

$14.00 per hour

Paid Bi-weekly. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT!


Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:

Read blueprints and specifications

Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards

Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process

Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced

Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers

Operate electronic inspection equipment and software

Accept or reject finished items

Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications

Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected

Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours

Positive attitude

Ability to travel to different job sites within a 10 mile radius of 40069 to help meet production deadlines at other facilities, if needed.


Education & Experience Required


High School Diploma

Quality Control experience a plus

Automotive industry experience a plus

1-year experience QS client engagement


COVID-19 Considerations:

MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE PLANT AT ALL TIMES. Temperature checks are done daily.
