The VP will be responsible for the day to day internal and external operations and administrative processes for construction projects, company equipment, and fleet management.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities include direct communication with staff, management, customers and vendors.
The successful individual must be well organized, possess great multi-tasking capabilities, and be able to think on their feet and make decisions quickly.
The individual must also support daily operations through processing documents, recording information, importing/entering data, and maintaining records while complying with department policies and procedures.
The Operations Manager will resolve issues, provide well thought out solutions, and escalate as needed to management for guidance and resolution.
This is a hands-on, project management positionthe Operations Manager will be expected to conduct on-site inspections and manage construction projects from the planning stages through completion and have responsibility for profit margins.
What You Need for this Position
10 years experience in commercial roofing
5+ in managerial / operations
Ability to take initiative, own tasks and be flexible regarding changing priorities
Ability to understand workflow, identify process improvements, summarize issues, and make recommendations to management.
Experience assessing and preparing documentation related to operational processes.
Ability to strategically think through initiatives, issues and opportunities while contemplating unintended consequences
Strong communication, time management and presentation skills
