Senior Product Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the pricing, packaging and documenting of new product ideas and conducts user need analyses for ancillary products so that subscriber and financial objectives are achieved. Conducts the budgeting, planning, analysis and monitoring required to ensure unit and financial targets are met for assigned products. Manages ongoing product management of new and existing products. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Job Description

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will coordinate across multiple teams to build and implement the long term product strategy related to a digital video product. You will drive development of innovative products and create content to support business goals and objectives. You will work closely with technical teams to gather and prioritize requirements, and work with cross-functional and external partners who will be executing those requirements.

As a champion in the market, you will help drive Comcast s value proposition and gain market insights that enable you to contribute to our broader go-to-market strategy. You are results-oriented, highly organized, and data driven, an agile self-starter focused on delivering optimal business outcomes. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into differentiated outcomes and customer benefits is crucial.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Manager, your key areas of responsibility include:

• Manage the product lifecycle. Work closely with development to ensure the successful release.
• Manage the technical relationship with integration partners on an ongoing basis. Act as liaison between the technology partner and the appropriate teams, commercialize integration, manage product packaging, joint value proposition development, go-to-market campaigns, sales engagement, training.
• Market intelligence - Distill competitive information, customer information, and product capabilities to plot a strategic course for how a product will be positioned, be the expert on our competition and how to succeed.
• Assist in preparing updates and presentations for senior leadership team.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of product or technical program management experience in the consumer electronics industry.
• Previous experience related to technical requirements gathering and ability to translate those requirements into actionable insights for the business.
• Bachelor s degree in a relevant field is required, MBA desirable.
• Strong ability to multitask with proven track record of execution on product launches, initiatives/programs.
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency.
• Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about winning.
