Job Details
Provide daily technical and administrative support for Project Managers, Estimators, and Superintendents. Coordinate all shop drawings, processing submittals, and gathering and distributing information.
• BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 3 year's experience
The project engineer is responsible for the control the project document and procurement process with daily, weekly and monthly project activities consisting of, but not limited to, the following:
• Basic understanding of scheduling software and scheduling principles/logic
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD
• RFIs, submittals, document control and as-built upkeep
• Quantity take offs including material procurement and project bid analysis
• Attend and participate in pre-op, subcontractor, owner and team meetings
• Manage and maintain material delivery logs
• Assist in process of issuing subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders
• Field measurement and site verification activities
• Manage the closeout process
• Complete job-site punch lists, work with owner manuals and warranties
• Performs schedule updates with input from project team
• Manage the job specific quality program
• Prepare weekly update reports with assistance from Project Manager
