Job Description
Provides managerial and hands on technical support to the Biomedical Engineering Department on the preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, and safety testing of all medical imaging equipment under the Medical Equipment Management Program within Lee Health. Practice and applies intentional leadership and initiatives to assure the assigned technical support staff follows department procedures to maintain, repair, and calibrate all medical imaging equipment , including but not limited to MRI, Cat Scans, Cath Labs, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures and general X-ray, C-Arms, Mobile X-ray, and related technologies. Implements, sustains, and supports best practices to assure that medical imaging equipment history is accurately and timely maintained in agreement with department policies and procedures.
