Please note: there are different farms in the Gentry/Siloam area. Workers will be asked to help out at different locations as needed. They will also be asked to help out in Egg Gathering, AI Catching, or other Farm Associate areas as needed. Candidates should have reliable transportation and live closer to these areas so that they can commute between farms.
**PLEASE NOTE: The manager has agreed hiring workers who are only able to work 40 hours a week to avoid paying for OT. They will work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week. Either a Sunday through Wednesday or a Thursday through Sunday**
**Please also have someone from your agency administer the questionnaire. The agency should ask the questions to the candidate and record their answers for them.**
Job Title: Egg Gatherer

*Pay cannot exceed $13.00/hr. to stay consistent with permanent employees. If hired on, there might be an increase in pay.

*There are several permanent openings, if your worker does a good job, they will be encouraged to apply online for these openings.
The Farm Associate will walk in the barn and gather egg from the nest and from the floor on a preset schedule of every hour to 45 minutes depending on the age of the flock and additional farm chores (cleaning drinkers, cleaning fans, housekeeping, nest repair, and broody control to name a few) as assigned by the farm supervisor. Carry the eggs to the egg house where they will wash and disinfect the eggs
Barn environment, working outside
Location-Gentry, AR - there are several farms within driving distance. Workers will rotate as needed.
Shift Hours-5am-7:30am start-Finish (10-12 hrs shift.)
PPE requirements-Company provided( Boots, Bump cap, dust mask)
Dress Code- Must wear farm provided clothing
Any additional notes that you'd like to add- Must be willing to follow bio-security rules which require them to take a shower prior to entering the farm and take another shower prior to leaving the farm as well.

Additionally, we require that a social media background check be completed for individuals who are offered these positions.
