Description: Our client is currently seeking a Scientist (Entry)-Biological
SUMMARY
The role is to provide Biostatistics support for Research and Development
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate custom scripts to handle bioassay and field trial data analysis in Python or R;
• Apply innovative technical tools to support research and development of new products for crop protection and efficiency;
• Communicate effectively through listening, documentations and presentations, especially using compelling visualization tools to share analysis and interpretation of data;
• Identify proactively and incorporate new algorithms and technology to automate the analysis of bioassay data and field trial results;
• Train research staff on the use of relevant experimental design, bioinformatics software and applied statistical tools;
• Apply state-of-the-art know-how to solve complex problems and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving;
Education Requirement(s):
• Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with relevant experience;
Skill & Competency Requirements:
• Ability to handle large data sets efficiently using scripts;
• Knowledge of statistical software tools and packages;
• Fluent in Python, R or other scripting languages.
