Power BI Consultant
BCForward is currently seeking highly motivated Power BI Consultant for our client based in Peoria, IL.
- Position: Power BI Consultant
- Location: Peoria, IL
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 Months
Job Responsibilities:
- Basic design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.
- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
- Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 2- 5years experience required.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Develop applications for use in the Machine Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forecasting group.
- Our group is responsible for creating applications / visualizations / processes to support worldwide forecasters.
- Design, code, test, and debug programs of varying levels of complexity.
- Analyze user requests and software requirements for feasibility of design and potential impact while conscious of time and cost constraints. Complex application problem identification and resolution.
Technical Skills Required:
- Candidate must be highly proficient in Python, Oracle database development, SQL, and Tableau workbook configuration.
- Candidate with SAS and .NET skills are desired and may be given more consideration.
