We need someone who will:
- Work and drive safely first and foremost as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Manage team of crew members and maintain a productive environment
- Problem solve on-site to successfully overcome client concerns
- Ensure scheduled driving runs are completed. Provide insight on known construction or work delays on route
- Provide excellent, error free delivery of materials to all clients as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Ensure on time deliveries and all products are received without damages as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pick up operations as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Maintain all required certifications by DOT, OSHA and company safety standards as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Maintain and protect all property to company standards by complete vehicle inspection reports, and communicate any variance of the company standard.
- Responsible for fueling the vehicles at the end of each day and recording the fuel amounts and odometer reading on route sheets.
- Operate a Moffett piggyback 3-wheeled forklift and understand how to unload and re-load piggyback as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Review and verify bills-of-lading for accuracy and completeness, and ensure that shipper information, description of freight and piece counts are legible and required signatures are obtained as a Lead Commercial Flatbed Driver
- Coordinate with dispatch and send updates via company time management system so all legs of delivery are correctly entered.
- Fill out daily pay/time sheet accurately to ensure proper daily billing.
- Maintain an open line of communication with the Dispatch department and advice of any problems that may arise with equipment or problems encountered during deliveries.

- Dependable and timely REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience REQUIRED
- Current CDL REQUIRED
- Current DOT medical certificate REQUIRED
- Clean and safe driving history REQUIRED
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques REQUIRED
- Ability and skill to operate all tools needed to carry out assigned duties REQUIRED
- Must be able to operate or be willing to train how to operate piggyback forklift on backend of trailer mounting and dismounting REQUIRED
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers REQUIRED
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors and customers REQUIRED
