Capture Manager - Federal

We are recruiting for a Capture Manager to work in support of a mid-sized federal government contracting firm. Qualified candidates must have federal business development experience and demonstrated success supporting business growth and strategy. This position requires expertise to identify and qualify opportunities, develop strategy, establish budgets, and identify teaming partners.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support overall business capture through market intelligence and analysis for federal government pursuits
• Lead complex captures for multiple complex RFPs
• Lead capture efforts and activities from pipeline review through proposal reviews
• Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing strategic business objectives
• Author and manage responses to government market research inquiries, attend industry events, and participate in customer meetings
• Support content development for proposals

Requirements Include:

• U.S. citizenship
• Current U.S. government security clearance or eligibility to obtain a clearance
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience with business development and capture for federal government programs of $50M+
• Experience leading proposal activities for Dept of State, Dept of Justice, Dept of Defense, and Dept of Energy opportunities
• Expertise managing business development budgets
• Demostrated experience with targeting markets and identifying/qualifying opportunities
• Effective written and verbal communication skils to succeed in one-to-one and group settings interacting across the organization
• Excellent writing skills and experience developing proposal content for technical and non-technical areas
• Experience working with remote teams and supporting remote meeting environments
