Functional Job Title: Business Analyst / Agile/ User Stories

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 plus months

Must be able to work with us on a Direct W2

Critical Skills:

  • Ability to write a detailed, comprehensive user story using critical thinking.
  • Sample of User story samples will identify strong critical thinkers.
  • Manager is more concerned with critical thinking skills vs years of experience.
  • Ability to think through rules, exceptions, alternatives is key.

Business Analysis Skills

  • The candidate will be evaluated by the details provided in a user story sample.
  • Ability to describe a process as a collection of steps that covers both the system and the Actor's perspective.
  • Ability to describe a process as steps in a process and not as steps for navigating a user interface.
  • High level BA with strong Strategy aptitude. The projects are fast moving and do not contain built-in structure.
  • Candidates must be articulate, able to handle and manage chaos and most importantly, communicate effectively.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to write a professional looking document.
  • Ability to verbally describe a process.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in your team.
  • Ability to consider a problem or process from all perspectives. (Critical Thinking)
