ECS is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Management Consultant to support a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform focused on providing solutions that empower our Federal customers with the tools and capabilities needed to turn data into actionable insights. As a Senior Management Consultant, you will support across the program with requirements analysis, solution design and implementation, and business process improvement. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to define enterprise data models, data architectures and strategies in building, integrating, operating, and maintaining a complex data pipeline. You will support the application of data governance and engineering best practices for designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of the modern state-of-the art information systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Support requirements elicitation and analysis, business case development, analysis of alternatives, and the development of recommendations for cloud migration, platform optimization, and data analytics capability development
- Promote the implementation and ongoing use of DevOps toolsets to automation and efficiencies in the planning, building, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the platform's capabilities
- Support the development and submission of SELC/SDLC deliverables for enterprise platform and customer specific program requirements
- Support the development, review, and publication of program documentation and policy.
- Ensure quality artifacts such as process maps, data flow maps, system architecture diagrams, data migration plans, and wireframes
- Support platform monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization and configuration management functions across applications and toolsets
- Provide project management support, serving as a lead point of contact for technical analysis initiatives and solution delivery for key initiatives
- Assess the technical needs of a project throughout its lifecycle, and support key technical decisions about the solutions to be implemented
- Plan for and oversee integration and data migration needs throughout a project's lifecycle
- Foster collaboration with analysts, designers, and/or developers on research activities, strategy sessions, ideation, design, and product testing
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions across teams to support solution development and delivery.
Required Skills:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- BS degree in Computer Science or related IT field/equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience supporting IT systems and programs
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to adequately plan and meet delivery objectives and maintain adequate service levels in highly dynamic, complex environments
- Experience with DevOps Toolsets and Automation
- Familiarity with various database architectures, designs, and data modeling
- Excellent communication, and presentation skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and communicate technical terms to non-technical audiences with an impeccable attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Experience with DHS and knowledge of DHS standards a plus
- Experience with developing data pipelines from many sources for structure and unstructured data sets in a variety of formats
- Demonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive data strategies and analytic solutions
- Certifications in one or more cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, etc)
