Summary 
  The Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor is primarily responsible to perform protective service work such as guarding buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations by employees and visitors. The Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor will respond to emergencies, enforce regulations, and conduct crowd, parking, & traffic control, inspections, and perimeter & internal access control. The Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor does not act in the capacity of a law enforcement officer, andhas no arrest or apprehension powers. The Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor will oversee all guards working during the shift. The Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor will assume PM duties should the PM be absent at any time.
 Responsibilities   
 - Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies, andperform all assigned duties in a safe work manner. 
-  Will arrive at work at scheduled times to allow for dressing in required uniform and issue of equipment.
-  Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned.
-  Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders.
-  Required to interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.
-  Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
-  Meet, greet and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general public
-  Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
-  Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English. 
-  Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.
-  Experience monitoring alarms and dispatching is preferred. 
-  Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
- Assistant Program Manager/Shift Supervisor will assume PM duties should the PM be absent at any time.

Qualifications   
 - Minimum of ten (10) years of physical security experience in increasing levels of supervisory responsibilities or BS/BA degree preferably in a law enforcement discipline and 5 years of physical security supervisor experience.
-  Extensive supervisory experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
-  Must have a valid US driver's license
-  Must have a valid US Passport
-  Must have an ACTIVE DoD Clearance
-  Completed a bona fide law enforcement course of instruction.
-  Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site. 
-  Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize.
-  Ability to work on projects independently and as a team player.
-  Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
-  Strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
-  Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
-  Honorably discharged/retired from the military preferably as a MP.
-  Be able to meet any Federal requirements to work as an Unarmed Security Guard.
-  In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
-  Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
-  Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
