The Administrative Assistant Contributes to the overall success of the Hartford HealthCare Risk Management Department by providing multi-dimensional complex administrative support to senior executives in a manner which requires self-direction, creativity, and independent and discretionary judgment. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions such as:

  • Maintaining leaders calendars, including independently creating, rescheduling, and prioritizing appointments for both internal and external commitments, ensuring priorities are accomplished and unplanned items are address appropriately.
  • Generating correspondence and preparing presentations and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets for data compilation.
  • Responsible for handling confidential information and for exercising appropriate judgment

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred

Experience:

2-5 years administrative support preferably in a health care setting


Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High degree of confidentiality
