Job Summary

The Change Management Consultant III position is responsible for working independently on change management solutions that range from small to complex projects or initiatives. The position will collaborate closely with project leaders and business resources to support methodology and deliverables.

This position will work on technology projects within the Cybersecurity Program / Project Management Office (PMO).

Responsibilities


  • Performs the following on all Cybersecurity projects and initiatives assigned
  • Designs, develops and implement change management strategies, and communication strategies across all impacted theaters for assigned Cybersecurity projects and / or initiatives.
  • Understands and applies Prosci methodology, tools and approaches and recognizes the need for methodology customization based on culture and past project / initiative experiences.
  • Identifies groups and individuals impacted by a cybersecurity initiative or project then prepares stakeholder assessments.
  • Develops and executes engagement plans to prepare, equip and support others through change including sponsorship, coaching, communications, training and resistance management plans.
  • Manage all relevant aspects of cross-functional change analysis and documentation.
  • Create and execute project plan for all change management team deliverables including but not restricted to business readiness, training, communication and sustainability.
  • Identifies training needs and develops content on cybersecurity projects or initiatives, including job aids, portal page content or user material.
  • Develops and delivers innovative communications using appropriate channels (e.g., Yammer, portal pages, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Manage complex, cross-functional stakeholder alignment and issue resolution using sophisticated executive influence skills.
  • Facilitate team meetings.
  • Serve as a coach for senior leaders in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor.
  • Develop and administer assessments to measure stakeholder, organization, and user change readiness, adoption metrics and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize project risks, assist in development of mitigation strategies and escalate as appropriate.
  • Manage and resolve day to day escalations from the team.
  • Work in a self-directed environment.
  • Works confidently and effectively through ambiguity to deliver success.
  • Manages change and communications on multiple projects or initiatives at the same time.

Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor s degree with 6- 9 years of prior work-related experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Prosci Change Methodology.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Experience managing change on large IT, or Cybersecurity projects and initiatives where the Waterfall methodology was used.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change on multiple projects or initiatives at the same time.
  • Ability to adapt and change as business needs change.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, phases of the project lifecycle.

Desired Qualifications


  • Master s Degree.
  • Certified Change Management Professional.
  • Advanced consulting skills including negotiating, influencing, working across organizations, emotional intelligence, decision making, cultural awareness and problem solving.
  • Competency in one or more complementary disciplines such as project management, innovation, design thinking, customer experience, training, communication, digital transformation.
  • Strong expertise in understanding the change process and understanding how people go through change.
