Wylander, a recruiting company, is hiring a Business Development Specialist, for Spot On Solutions, the home services industry's premier digital marketing agency. This position is a "work from home" opportunity for candidates residing in Idaho, Texas or Utah. SOS is seeking a candidate who is ambitious, disciplined and focused to support the company's continual growth, through building new relationships with restoration/reconstruction companies worldwide. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans for the company. They will need to generate and secure new business-to-business sales revenue by prospecting and adding partners, in addition to maintaining existing partner relationships. Taking actions that best serve clients, their customers, and benefits their business.

Responsibilities:

  • Design an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationships to sell digital marketing products (Websites, SEO, Google Ads, Social Media, etc.) and related services.
  • Provides and receives information, verbally and in writing, to build both internal and external relationships while achieving results
  • Responsible for achieving company sales targets
  • Seeks to fully understand the business potential of each client. Listens for both short-term and long-term opportunities.
  • Effectively and consistently uses sales & lead tracking tools to coordinate all aspects of the sales process
  • Provide exceptional product knowledge and outstanding customer service to develop lifetime customers
  • Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.)
  • Create programs and support materials designed to attract new business as well as product education
  • Compile lists of prospective clients for use as sales leads from industry ads, trade shows, websites, etc.
  • Call on current and prospective clients to solicit business either by phone, text message, video, or email
  • Assist clients as needed to ensure needs are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Work with company representative and/or sales manager to achieve company sales goals
  • Attend weekly sales management meetings

Requirements:

  • 2 years previous experience working in an "online" sales role and/or as a business development role
  • Experience with making outbound sales calls is a MUST
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to seek knowledge if new to the industry
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), G-Suite, and internet and software systems. Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable. Identifies own learning needs and seeks appropriate steps to continue continual self-development
  • Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
