The Human Resource Data Analyst is responsible for initiating, planning and managing a portfolio of projects through to successful implementation including system-wide dashboards. The HR Data Analyst contributes to the effective identifications of areas of improvement in data gathering and analysis, new and innovative combinations and correlates. Also, the HR Data Analyst participates in the design, development and on-going production support of the department's own information systems which may integrate throughout the enterprise to provide business solutions to customers which will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department's labor strategy. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:

  • Analyzes customer needs and prepares complex programs according to specifications. Designs, codes, tests, de-bugs and documents programs across an integrated system to enable customer to meet long and short-term business objectives.
  • Acts as highest-level technical support addressing problems of systems integration compatibility on multiple platforms. May lead diverse development team in design of highly complex software systems.
  • Applies systems and technical knowledge in evaluating and implementing operational changes and solving customer production problems in a timely manner.
  • Balances the concerns and request of customers with available resources by leveraging information, services, tools and resources in order to delivers outstanding customer service through direct engagement, helping to clearly identify goals and objectives, prioritize needs and requests.
  • Evaluates and compares vendor software solutions by analyzing their open system capabilities and evaluating overall effectiveness of meeting customer functional requirements.
  • Works effectively as a team member within and across project teams and departments by sharing resources, information, services, tools and ideas ensuring all outcomes and deliverables meet organizational goals.
  • Generates insights from data to make recommendations, drive strategy and measure effectiveness of programs.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge and understanding of customer requirements in order to make cost effective and efficient recommendations based on data.
  • Develop educational activities, resource guides, and other tools using adult learning principles.
  • Educate employees and leadership about data use and interpretation through training, reference guides and presentations.

Qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience:
• 2-3 years' experience with business development in a healthcare environment required

• Experience with visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI) preferred

• Experience with SQL or PeopleSoft preferred

• Experience working with employee data preferred
