Marsh & McLennan Companies is seeking candidates for the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Lead based in Hoboken, NJ. This position is in our Finance Technology group.

We will count on you to

  • Perform System Analysis and Business Analysis activities (i.e. process, solution design)
  • Perform fit/gap assessments and providing solution options with impact assessments
  • Identify areas for business process improvement and efficiencies; make recommendations to improve existing processes or system functionality
  • Identify and promote best practices
  • Provide team functional/technical leadership and overall internal team management assistance
  • Perform blueprinting and design for data integration between various Oracle EPM cloud products such as EPBCS, PCMCS and FCCS
  • Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design, prototype, to implement and rollout solutions
  • Write clear, concise technical specifications for Hyperion applications and business system process
  • Integration of Hyperion applications with existing processes and source systems
  • Diagnose problems and come up with solutions and/or workarounds in a fast paced environment
  • Manage, lead and develop a small team of 4 colleagues/contractors
  • Document and troubleshoot problems and effectively communicate issues with business and technical team members at all levels in a timely manner
  • Build, implement and rollout solutions
  • Communicate and partner with customers on a regular basis to build and maintain a solid working relationships

What you need to have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • Accounting knowledge is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Management, Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition - FDMEE, Calculation Manager, Close Manager, Financial Reports and SmartView
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud products such as EPBCS, PCMCS, EPRCS and FCCS
  • Experience with Master Data management tools such as Oracle DRM, TIBCO EBX5
  • 3+ years of experience with data integration between on premise and Oracle Cloud (EPM Cloud) applications
  • Experience with monthly pre-close/close process, internal management/externa reporting, management allocations, budgeting and forecasting process
  • Experience with web application development using various frameworks
  • Strong Understanding of the Project Delivery Framework and SDLC
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile Project Management Methodology
  • Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent and proven collaboration skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Proven delivery outcomes, as well as deep project management skillset - including the ability to provide detailed updates that ensure issue recognition as well as proposed solution options to support and maintain project success
