Intranet Content Business Analyst

The Content & Business Analyst will responsible for assisting in the organization, planning and development of content (text, documents, multimedia, etc.) across the various colleague-facing digital intranet properties. The role will also be instrumental in managing the implementation of metadata in the content development process.

This role will also provide assistance to the Enterprise Applications team as it defines and develops user stories, business requirements and functional specifications for new systems. The role will be responsible for creating functional specifications and participate in system & user acceptance testing. The role will also be responsible for coordinating and delivering end user training for content owners.

We will count on you to:

  • Design and manage the overall content strategy for enterprise portal and other digital workplace components (Microsoft 365, search, Bots, etc.)
  • Participate in the content management of assets in various formats including written, graphical and audio/visual materials
  • Work closely with Information Architect to understand and implement content tags and metadata based on overall taxonomy
  • Partner with business areas and functions to develop content plans and work with subject matter experts
  • Measure the accuracy and timeliness of content to guarantee content quality and relevance
  • Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements. Ensure requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation
  • Test solutions to ensure the product meets the business requirements
  • Assist with developing content owner training strategy, documentation and delivery of training

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience with content management/creation in a digital environment
  • Hands-on experience working with web sites and digital media tools especially SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Yammer, Stream)
  • Understanding of metadata and content tagging to improve search effectiveness
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to organize and work effectively with large data sets
  • Must be able to work with all levels of colleagues to develop content plans and strategies
  • Experience with translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
