As Order Screw Bagger, you will be working inside a thriving and growing manufacturing facility that designs, tests, produces, and ships Door Closers, Door Controls, and Electromechanical Door Controls used in Hospitals, Schools, Churches, Sports Arenas, Hotels, and large Institutional buildings. Our facility is a dynamic and fast paced work environment with many possibilities to make a difference and add value to the business. What you will be doing

You will:

  • Use our computerized ERP system and follow all ISP procedures and requirements to efficiently pack screw bags
  • Read and interpret "B" orders as to the correct screw pack and color.
  • Maintain a priority list of screw packs for "B" orders by date.
  • Maintain a good line of communication between the "B" Order Packer and "B" Order Picker.
  • Check Visual Kan-Bans to replenish screw packs at each pack out line.
  • Change screw pack set-up to ship by date.
  • Lead 5S work in the drop zones.
  • Return RGA parts to the primary pack cell as needed.
  • Back-up Material Handlers.
  • Mark and apply labels when required.
  • Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Follow all ISO procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Other duties as assigned and required by the supervisor.

We believe the ideal candidate has 3 years or more of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment packing small parts. You are used to working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meeting high production and quality standards. You take great pride in your work and set high expectations for yourself and others. You always meet or exceed requested production numbers. You always produce quality products. You are always at work as expected and are never late. You have a very high sense of urgency and truly embrace lean manufacturing, 5S, On Time Delivery, and are Customer focused.
