The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Client Business Executive to serve in the capacity as a back-up to management, conduct onsite visits with clients nationwide, serve as an executive-level liaison, as well as evaluate, analyze, market, present, demonstrate, and sell products and services. The ability to achieve and maintain superior levels of client satisfaction, especially at the executive level, is required.
  • This position is fully-remote. That means we are open to talent across the country and the person in this position will be able to continue working remotely even after we transition back into our physical office locations.


What You Can Look Forward to

  • A proven track record of growing relationships with executive level management while demonstrating value to the client.
  • Ability to articulate complex or simple concepts "in the moment".
  • Escalation point for clients assigned to your book of business.
  • Ability to negotiate longer term contracts, neutralize objections and exhibit value at an executive level.
  • Meet with Senior Executives on a consistent basis including Credit Union leaders and Payment strategy leaders.
  • Maintain a profitable relationship with each assigned client.
  • Travel of up to 60%+ is required.
  • Manage a group of large/strategic/complex clients.
  • Develop skill set and knowledge above what is required and share best practices with CBE team.
  • Strong leader on CBE team and a mentor and trainer for new CBE's.
  • Participate in leadership activities that will benefit team and/or company.
  • Act as team lead and back up manager.
  • Expand C suite relationships.
  • Responsible to assist assigned clients with growth of portfolio.
  • Cross sale of CO-OP products and services to assigned credit unions.
  • Share industry insight and enhance the educational opportunities that benefit the team.
  • Be a trusted advisor and advocate for your book of clients throughout organization.
  • Work with Sales Managers and uncover platform referrals.
  • Facilitate Strategic Business Reviews.
  • Manage Account Plans in Salesforce.com.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Payments and Payment Innovation preferred.
  • Served in an Account Management or Executive position for more than 5-years.
  • Thorough financial services and technology industry knowledge.
  • Maintain executive presence and presentation skills.
  • Must possess an understanding of consultative selling and effectively execute on product sales.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to communicate strategic ideas effectively in both written and verbal communications throughout all levels of an organization, especially with C-level executives.
  • Ability to self-manage and maintain a flexible schedule, which will include extensive travel time.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new products, services, and technologies.
  • A proven track record of growing relationships with executive level management while demonstrating value to the client.
  • Outstanding interpersonal/relationship management and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to escalate issues throughout levels of an organization appropriately.
  • Must be a self-starter, collaborative, detail oriented and able to take leadership role into all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Customer/client service and leadership orientation - support strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
  • Prior managment experience is preferred.
