Machine Operator

Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for the developing, etching, striping and bonding of printed circuit boards.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop, Etch, Strip, Bond printed circuit boards.
  
• Knowledge of the chemicals utilized in the DESBdepartment and the safety precautions to follow.
  
• Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and company regulations.
  
• Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations knowledge of the DESBline.
  
• May be required to cross train in other departments.
  

This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Qualifications (Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• 
  
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
  
• Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
  

Must have excellent verbal communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.

• 
  
• Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
  
• Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
  
• 2+ years PCB experience a plus.
  
• Prior DES experience preferred.
  
• Experience in other areas a plus.
