DSA is looking for an analytic, results-driven and self-motivated and well-organized professional to join our dynamic team as a Tester / Business Analyst. As a Tester/ Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Project Manager, customer, and project team to ensure the requirements and quality standards are being met.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading requirement discussions to document, analyze, and translate functional business requirements into business specifications, use cases, business process diagrams, and workflows.
- Work with business owner and other stakeholders to develop and document change request and user stories using JIRA
- Create or update project deliverables and artifacts in accordance to project requirements and quality standards.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts and procedures for different phase of testing to ensure system requirements are met.
- Work with interfacing systems / team to perform integration testing and documenting test data.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
- Write, implement, and report status for system testing. Documenting defects and monitoring them to closure.
- Assist with documenting project risk, issues, and lessons learn.
- Assist in creation and execution of the Quality Control Plan and other documentation as required
Require skills:

- 5+ years as a test engineer performing both manual and execution of automated test.
- 5+ years as a business system analyst interacting with customer
- 5+ years of performing different types of testing: system integration testing, regression testing, and supporting of user acceptance testing
- 5+ years of writing test plans, test reports, and working with defect management process and tools
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Experience in using quality control processes to ensure that products, deliverables, and data are standardized and accurate.
- SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience within agile methods.
- Experience developing automated testing scripts using automation tool (i.e Selenium) is a plus
- Experience in conducting internal/external quality audits is a plus
- Experience with 508 testing a plus
- Technical writing a plus
Required/ Desired Education and Certifications:
- Minimum education: Bachelor s Degree
- Must be Eligible to Obtain Government Clearance.
