Job Description
AbleVets, a Cerner company, provides healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. As a Project Planning/Scheduling Engineer you will direct and manage the operational planning, organization and maintenance of master project schedules. You will analyze proposals and contracts to identify project phases, forecast time and resource estimates and establish comprehensive master project schedules, considering appropriate sequencing of project phases and tasks, project dependencies and availability of funding and resources. In addition, you will oversee assignment of project team members of third parties to specific phases or tasks, proactively partnering with manpower analysts and resource managers to understand resource requirements and ensure resource availability.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of Project/program management work experience including planning, scheduling and/or risk assessment
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. ====
Preferred Qualifications - At least 1 year of project/program management work experience including planning, scheduling and/or risk assessment for federal government projects/programs
Expectations - Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Must be residing in or willing to relocate to Arlington, VA
