Taos is looking for a Python Software Engineer that will be responsible for writing and testing Python application.
What you'll be doing
- Good oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating and training other QA members.
- Experience with full stack test harnesses and frameworks: Unit test, Zend, Flask.
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Continuous Improvement / Continuous Deployment workflows (CI / CD).
- Experience identifying gaps in the requirements or testing processes and able to generate solutions for continuous improvement
- Experience with scale testing of cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes will be a huge plus.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately
- Solid experience with Load / Stress/ Performance Testing.
- Good understanding of RESTful design / best practices. Hands on experience testing APIs and test tools (Charles, Postman, Advanced Rest Client).
- Experience with using Agile development methodologies.
- Proficient with MySQL or relational databases
What you'll bring with you
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- 4+ yrs in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) related language.
- Experience working with product owners and developers to define user stories.
- Scripting and coding knowledge is required.
- Experience with automation frameworks and strong scripting with Python and PHP.
