Description

This position will be responsible for leading a project team in the development of experimental and new technology hardware for space flight applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading a multi-disciplined engineering team to complete all aspects of the project including:
  • requirements definition
  • design
  • engineering review boards
  • manufacture
  • integration
  • operations
  • environmental testing
• Responsible for developing overall project schedules, budgets and status reports as well as develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Position will interface directly with customer project manager or management team on a daily basis.

Requirements

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

• BS or MS with a discipline in Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in project/ product development within the aerospace industry

Preferences

• PMP a plus but not required
• Working with an international team is a plus
• Foreign language experience is a plus
