Seeking Family Medicine Physician to join well-established Life Affirming Medical Practice.
The demand for our services in Indianapolis have skyrocketed since we opened the practice in 2014. We have been adding over 1000 patients a year every year, currently serving over 6000 patients. Our founder is a frequent speaker at Residence Programs and Podcasts We have recently moved to a brand new, well-appointed office space to accommodate our growth.
For an incoming physician, one can expect to see patients from birth to death with an average of 20 minutes per appointment and a lower number of patients in the clinic per day than other practices. Patients are scheduled in advance, but time is available in the schedule for sick appointments.
A physician joining our practice would be joining a great team that exudes our core values, Joyful, Flexible, and Innovative. We have a support staff that includes two PA's, an NP, a nutritionist, onsite Ultrasound technician, Fertility Care Practitioner, 3 full time nurses, a scribe and a full staff for front office, scheduling, billing, insurance and planning fun events.
We have developed an onboarding plan to help an incoming physician become part of our team, but expect an incoming physician to be able to function independently in 4 to 8 months. Typically, providers are in the office four days per week, but one could practice 5 days a week if desired. As a provider of full life cycle family medicine, we also participate and support an obstetrics rotation with a local Tier 1 Trauma center and when possible deliver babies for our own patient population.
As a member of Magnificat Family Medicine you can practice a full range of family medicine including wellness, cancer screenings, mental health, minor procedures, pelvic exam, endometrial and skin biopsies, joint injections, trigger point injections, circumcision, minor wound and laceration repair, high risk ob/gyn, and service the needs of infants, children, adolescents, adult, and gerontology.
All of our staff have a familiarity with NaPro technology and the Creighton Model and support for reproductive health. The practice would support additional training needed for the physician to become certified in NaPro and the Creighton Model.
Call responsibilities would include sharing in practice call and obstetrics rotation as well as sharing holiday call across the practice.
