We are an growing engineering services company growing through technical innovation servicing both government (Maritime/Navy and DoD) and commercial large scale engineering projects! We are specializing in electronics technology research, development, cybersecurity, and much more.

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Technician with current working knowledge of "Smartship" MCS / MCSS with the ability to travel up to 40% (OCONUS) including ships underway.

-Secret clearance (or eligible, but will need the active clearance to start).

-Former Navy CGs, GSEs most preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

-Diagnosing Navy ship equipment using current instrumentation
-Working with Navy assessment programs and reporting methods for visits

-At least 1++ experience working experience:

-MS office suite compiling info and reports and transferring digital pictures from camera to computer

-excellent communication skills both written and oral

-CG Smartship machinery controls systems,

-Gas turbine control systems

What You Need for this Position

-At least 2 1/2 years + experience in the operation operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of MCS / ECS / MCSS and Support Systems, with at least 6 months experience occurring within the last 12 months.

-Technical SME support for INSURV / TSRA inspections/assessments, engine balancing and Sea Trials.

-Ability to troubleshoot propulsion and auxiliary hardware, such as transducers, Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTE), Thermocouples, Signal Conditioners, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Input / Output Controllers (OICs), Network Switches and PC based control and monitoring systems.
