Mammoth Mountain Ski School is hiring Snowboard Instructors of all levels for the 2 winter season!

THE ROLE
Non-certified instructors will be trained to teach snowboarding and skiing, as well as assisting in the support functions of the School and mountain operations (equipment rentals, lesson area set-up and check in, and lift operations).
As an Instructor with the Mammoth Mountain Ski & Snowboard School, you will provide quality instruction to groups and individuals (primarily to children aged between 3 and 7 years old) in a safe and fun manner while upholding the highest levels of guest safety and service. Instructors will perform a variety of all of the support roles above as required.
Requirements
A passion for working with small children in a winter environment is a prerequisite for this position. Experience working with children is highly preferred.
Basic snowboarding skills.
Experience working in a guest service role.
Empathy for, and an ability to teach new skills in an unfamiliar environment.
Must be flexible and able to work in variable weather conditions.
Your ability to provide excellent guest service is more important than your personal snowboarding ability. On the job training will be provided to give you the necessary skills to be successful!
