IT Engineer (2 openings)

Location: New York, NY

*You can remain remote during the COVID-19, but there will eventually be some expectation to be on-site a couple days a week. You must be a US ====or permanent resident to qualify for this position.

The IT Engineer will report into the Manager of IT Engineering, and you will be tasked with engineering the newest tech to revolutionize and bring an expertise to a variety of areas within the IT Engineering function.

You will have to architect, engineer, deploy and enhance new and existing solutions. You should have an capability of collaborating with different IT functions to execute plans of transitioning to new deployed services.

This role will ultimately support the Sr. Engineering and Managerial staff, but with also be responsible for working with key stakeholders across the business. You may be asked to represent the IT Engineering staff, and engage with upper management and therefore communication skills are crucial. You should be able to take technical concepts and translate to non-technical professionals. Qualified candidates may be tasked with taking the lead on certain projects, and serving as an SME to execute on technical projects from concept to production.

This candidate will be responsible support the infrastructure operations team to investigate, escalation and resolve technical issues. You should also be experienced in working with vendors.

Qualified candidates must be coming from a technical environment where they have a primary responsibility of designing and implementing IT Infrastructure around VDI, Xen Desktop, Citrix, Exchange, 0365, Active Director, Windows, Powershell, etc.
