Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a System/Principal Systems Engineer to support the GBSD Guidance System Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) design and development activities. Responsibilities include detailed design, procurement, development and integration of HWIL layout, harnesses and test fixtures. Also include supporting HWIL Testbed requirements and Testbed architecture development and conceptual design of Electrical and Mechanical Ground Support equipment.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Position requires 50% travel to El Segundo for first 3 months, then 25% travel to El Segundo until Q3 2021. Otherwise, 10% travel.
