What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and associated systems through the pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases
- Develop and improve the processes and standards
- Provide insight for budget estimates, assist with quotes, procurement
- Perform design review, review projected schedules
- Review contract documents and issue RFIs
- Reviewing MEP/FP submittals
- Drive MEP coordination process
- Perform and/or supervise QA/QC checks
- Manage the startup/commissioning/closeout process
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with MEP/FP subcontractors
- Develop critical client relationships
- Assist in Business Development efforts as needed--attend and represent firm at related events
- Assist the Director as needed
What You Need for this Position
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 5 or more years of experience with MEP and Fire Protection design, estimation, installation, commissioning
- LEED accreditation or Lean Certification a plus
