The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for the administration, compliance and innovation of the Universitys financial assistance programs, including grants, scholarships, loans, and federal work-study.

Required Qualifications

*bachelors degree; and *minimum of five years related experience in administration of financial aid. Preferred: *advanced degree.

Job Duty

promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;

Job Duty

promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students;

Job Duty

participate on University committees;

Job Duty

oversee financial aid counselor and administrative assistant staff, financial aid applications and prepare financial aid awards;

Job Duty

coordinate the transmission of financial aid award information to the Finance Office for student billing purposes;

Job Duty

counsel students and parents about the aid application process and availability of financial aid;

Job Duty

remain current and knowledgeable concerning NCAA and conference policies;

Job Duty

participate in professional development programs to improve skills and enhance the effective management of financial aid programs;

Job Duty

assist in completion of required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; and

Job Duty

perform other duties as assigned.
