Job Description

Good knowledge of the Windows operating system (including Windows 10). This includes knowledge of command prompt, adding/removing drivers, printers.

Possesses solid (advanced) networking experience.

Well versed with TCP/ IPv4, DNS, DHCP, and static vs. dynamic IP.
Professional presentation, demeanor, and very strong communication skills.
Ability to run Cable and snake Cable through walls
Ability to wire Window/Door Alarm Contacts
Ability to install Analog and IP Surveillance Cameras.
Ability to Wire and Terminate Burglar Alarm Panels.
Knowledge of per-construction and retro fit low voltage wire running and termination. This includes CAT3, Cat5e, Cat6, RG6, etc.
Knowledge of Audio and Video fundamentals, such as wiring A/V receivers, amplifiers, HDMI, RCA, Optical Audio, etc.

Responsibilities:
Install and configure residential AV/Home control systems
-Testing and programming controls systems with ability to resolve system conflicts
and equipment compatibility issues including contacting technical support
-Testing, troubleshooting, altering and loading program changes
-Open to continual learning of new products, upgrades, and software programs
related to systems, and training.
Job requires some overtime and driving to different job sites. Installers are required
to work on different jobs simultaneously requiring adequate records of tasks and
frequent communication to supervisor.
Pre-wire, device mounting, speaker installation, network and telephone jacking,
patch panel and punch block terminations and all parameters of pre-final AV
installation work
Maintenance of Existing Security, AV and Home Automation Systems.
