Position Title: Warehouse Materials Operations Manager for Client Janesville Assembly Plant (CJAP)

Job Summary:
Supports several aspects of CLIENT Emissions Solutions (CES) Warehouse and Logistics Operations. Conducts functional analysis and process assessments to identify development needs and process improvements. Coordinates and monitors improvement projects of varying complexity and size in assigned functional area. This position may provide exposure to multiple Cummins warehouse and manufacturing plants and sub-functions.

Key responsibilities for this position will include the following:
* Accountable for Warehouse operations and process performance in Janesville, Wisconsin.
* Leads development and implementation of CES warehouse functional excellence initiatives.
* Lead Warehouse process improvement, warehouse cost reduction and warehouse resources optimization based on CJAP FE scorecard, Value Stream Mapping and Problem-Solving Techniques (Kaizen, 5 Why's, A3, Six Sigma, etc.).
* Leads clients Operations Systems (COS) and clients Policies/Values as part of CES Warehouse Management system
* Monitor and address warehouse and logistics process deviations.
* Leads CJAP's warehouse operations with 3PL and cross-functional team
* Leads CJAP KPI's and support CES strategic/tactical warehouse and logistics initiatives.
* Assist or support Safe Launch Plan of VPI Program launches at CES warehouse locations.
* Provide warehouse and logistics information to multiple users and stakeholders
* Validate/adjust warehouse capacity-demand analysis based on CES Synchronize Business Planning (VOC - voice of the customer) and Warehouse Processes (VOP - voice of the process).
* Support or assist Monthly Business Meetings review with 3PL, follow up and close Safety, A3's, CAR's and open actions.
* Manage, coach, and develop team members and indirect reports
* Promote safe and right work environment

Position Requirements:
* While the manager is seeking candidates with a Bachelors' Degree, it is not an absolute requirement in order to be considered for this opening. Please note that if a candidate doesn't have a completed degree they must have relevant working experience in their background in order to be considered.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing / warehousing operations is required. A well-prepared individual is needed to fill this opening.
* Selected hire needs to be self-driven and accountable for their work.
* Excellent written, communications and presentation skills
* Management and Leadership skills
* Certified Six Sigma GB preferred
* Project Management
* Quality Standard knowledge (ISO, VDA, IATF)
* Travel Required: 5% or less travel would be to other local locations in the area.

Additional information from the manager:
* This is a Monday Friday position with core working hours being 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST. Overtime will need to be worked on occasion.

* When the manager is ready to interview, he will first be requesting phone interviews. Candidates whom successfully complete a phone screen will be asked for an on-site interview. A Skype interview can be considered for 2nd round interviewing.
