Director of Services / National Director of Reoccurring Revenue

Creatively develop product offerings that build service and parts as a stand-alone, growth focused, business on a national level with customer satisfaction at its core

The Opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to develop a world class and highly profitable customer support division for our company. This function will include service support (there are 16 offices nationally) as well as spare parts (centralized in Wisconsin). The aim is to expand our service offerings to better support more of our customers' needs. As such, a passion for sales and marketing, coupled with an innovative entrepreneurial spirit, is essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities

The role combines the big picture overall implementor skills and the vision to define the direction of our national service offerings, with the ability to understand and participate in the tactical day-to-day execution. This will quickly expand to include coaching and leading others to successfully implement this vision. What's more, the anticipated growth cycle of this opportunity will include leading various business units within Ellison that focus on recurring revenue within the first 6 - 12 months. Nevertheless, the initial mandate will be to build out the overall business plan to grow revenues and implant that plan, followed by assuming additional responsibilities as the business case is put forward and validated with metrics. This role is truly for someone with a progressive and growth oriented mentality.

Accomplishing these goals will include developing services that can be offered by our service technicians upon arrival, parts that may be needed while evaluating the clients' current operations and recommendations for additional valued-added services in the future. This opportunity would take our excellent current technical capabilities and create a more consistent and standardized approach nationally.

Again, we see this role starting as a consultative / individual contributor position, developing and driving the plan, while learning the business, that evolves into building a team that includes other units within Ellison on a national level.



Qualifications

Anticipated Experience:

We expect the ideal person will have a track record of consistent year over year growth in an entrepreneurial / intrapreneurial capacity in which they were the primary leader setting expectations and goals, leading and following up on day-to-day execution and driving operations towards these outcomes.

They will most likely come from an organization that provided services, which included promoting additional value-added offerings to the clientele (upselling) to drive revenue growth

This person will have a passion for building a division/business of their own and demonstrated revenue growth as measured by a P&L that they had responsibility for.

They've utilized quantitative metrics to measure and improve performance to drive performance improvements and business efficiencies that accelerate results.

What's more, they will have been an operational leader that has led and grown teams, and understands how to leverage marketing resources for growth.

This a national role and would require some travel, especially initially as relationships were developed with the offices' teams and time was taken to understand their business operations.
