OrthoNebraska is currently seeking a Rehab Aide to support the Therapy Department in transporting patients, communicating observations to therapists and various duties. What you would do in this role:

* Assisting with patient treatment under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.

* Communicating to the therapist all observations relative to the patient.

* Transporting patients to required treatment areas and preparing them for treatment by the therapist.

* Cleaning all equipment, mats and other items involved in patient care after each patient use according to approved infection control guidelines.

* Disposing of all dirty linen and replenishing with appropriate amount of clean linen.

* Reporting equipment malfunctions to management or appropriate therapist and tagging inoperable equipment.

* Issuing and assembling equipment under the guidance of a licensed therapist.

* Ensuring proper storage of all equipment.

* Restocking treatment rooms/supply closet in a timely manner.

* Monitoring inventory and reorder in a timely manner.

* Assisting with scheduling patients and answering phones when appropriate.

* Complying with state and local guidelines to maintain a safe aquatic environment.
