Job Description Job Description Description: The Injection Molding Process Engineer will play a key role in supporting production, process optimization, and new equipment implementation for high quality plastic components. Will provide technical expertise in support of existing operations and new product development and new introduction projects. Process Eng. will establish and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures, including capacity planning, tooling acquisition, replacement plans, process development using scientific injection molding techniques, routings, cost reductions, and quality improvements within the organization Requirements: Identify and implement improvements for molded parts and secondary operations Develop, document, and implement new and existing processes to enhance quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel Program and integrate sit-axis robots for pat handling, de-gating, or in-mold assembly using customized end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) Work closely with Quality to ensure molded parts meet 2D drawing requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production) to maintain process stability and compliance with IATF standards Participate in APQP, PPAP and FMEA activities to ensure successful product launches Help resolve part dimensional problems related to the injection molding process Provide technical training and support to production personnel Drive continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, scrap reduction, cycle time, and equipment utilization Manage tool & machine maintenance, repair(s), and modification schedules Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding process development Strong technical background in molding of Engineered resins - PP (Polypropylene, PMMA (Acrylic), and PC (Polycarbonate) resins In-depth knowledge of mold design fundamentals (gating, venting, cooling, ejection) and scientific molding principles Knowledge of automation, robotics integration, and process control systems, proficiency with six-axis robots, EOAT design/programming, and vision inspection systems a plus Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (DOE, 5-Why, Fishbone) Experience with insert molding, over molding, or multi-shot processes Proficiency with Moldflow or equivalent simulation software Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification Experience leading equipment commissioning and plant layout optimization projects Excellent communication skills EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Job Summary: Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, drives, electronic controls, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, and various production machines and equipment. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. Troubleshoots, repairs and replacement of components as required on machines to assure satisfactory operations with minimum down time. Troubleshoot and maintains all associated equipment including, but not limited to, robot, stackers, conveyors, destaticizers, DME units, and temperature control units. Works from drawings, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic prints, electrical diagrams, manufacturers' printed instructions to troubleshoot and locate mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical problems in functional and control system. Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts or materials. Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of hydraulic/pneumatic valves, lines, connections, pumps and check micro-preventative maintenance schedule. Verifies operation of machine sequence. Removes, cleans and replaces main feed screw and barrel as required. Inspects parts while disassembled. Assures all heater bands elements are operable. Replaces worn out units. Rebuilds hydraulic valves and pumps as necessary. Documents all findings and measurements. Uses mechanical maintenance tools, equipment and machines as required. Uses Volt-Ohm-Ammeter for some electrical checks. Complies with all LOTO requirements. Assists in mold setting as needed. Reports immediately to supervisor problems and unusual situations which cannot be resolved quickly. Observes all health and safety requirements and maintains work area in neat order and orderly condition. Performs reasonable related duties as assigned. Supports 6S process. PM, facilities maintenance, new machinery installation/modification as required. Adheres to all safety requirements. Other duties as assigned. Blue Engineering is seeking an experienced Lead Protection Relay Test & Commissioning Engineer to establish and grow our Protection & Controls Testing Practice. This is more than a senior testing role. This position will work directly with the Managing Principal to build the technical capabilities, testing laboratory, standards, procedures, and engineer development programs that will support the long-term growth of our Protection & Controls services. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on utility relay testing and commissioning experience with the leadership ability to develop engineers, solve complex power system challenges, and build a high-performing technical practice. Required Utility Protection & Controls Experience Applicants must have direct experience performing: Protection relay testing and commissioning Transmission and distribution substation testing Relay functional testing, startup, and troubleshooting OMICRON relay testing SCADA and RTAC testing Power system troubleshooting and fault analysis This is not a software development, IT, network engineering, cybersecurity, systems engineering, automation engineering, or PLC programming position.
