Execute preventative maintenance protocols to ensure optimal system performance, efficiency, and longevity for client facilities. Interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to accurately lay out and install equipment on site. Manage refrigerant recovery and charging procedures in strict compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. Mentor in-house helpers and apprentice technicians, guiding them on proper installation techniques and safety protocols to help them build their skills. Document system parameters, startup logs, and daily service reports accurately to communicate status clearly with Project Managers and clients. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, low-voltage control wiring, and refrigerant flow. Proficiency in reading and executing tasks from mechanical blue prints and system schematics. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
