Key Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, addenda, schedules, and bid documents. Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial electrical systems. Identify and pursue new estimating and business development opportunities. Solicit, review, and compare pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Develop competitive bid proposals that support company growth and profitability. Identify project risks, exclusions, clarifications, and value-engineering opportunities. Attend pre-bid meetings, jobsite walks, scope reviews, and customer meetings as needed. Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, property owners, vendors, and industry partners. Follow up on submitted proposals and assist with negotiations and project awards. Coordinate with management, project managers, field personnel, vendors, and customers. Maintain organized estimating files, bid records, cost databases, and historical pricing information.
