The Leasing Consultant serves as the first point of contact for prospective residents and plays a key role in achieving occupancy and resident satisfaction goals. Position Summary: As a Leasing Consultant, you represent our community quality and give our customers exceptional service. You successfully lease properties by discovering and exceeding customers' expectations. You assist in marketing and advertising the property and generating traffic. You demonstrate strong leasing performance by consistently meeting weekly leasing expectations. Responsibilities: Lease unit/house to prospective residents and meet or exceed leasing and occupancy goals Conduct engaging property tours (in-person and virtual), highlighting amenities and features Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, and walk-ins Process rental applications, verify documentation, and prepare lease agreements Maintain accurate resident and prospect records in leasing/property management software Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and renewals Build positive relationships with residents and address questions or concerns in a timely manner Support resident events, marketing initiatives, and outreach efforts Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a high-quality resident experience Implement and execute guest community events. Assist with the annual unit turns as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Skills Proven working experience as a leasing consultant Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations Proven track record of successful sales Basic understanding of MS Office Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques Customer-focused approach Property Management software (AppFolio) - preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leasing environment in Property Management.
