Key Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Select, install, and align punches, dies, and gauges on hydraulic or CNC press brake machines. Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, CAD prints, and bend tables to determine proper bending sequences and dimensions. Quality Assurance: Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and protractors to ensure compliance with specifications. Material Handling: Safely lift, move, and position sheet metal materials, utilizing overhead cranes or hoists when required. Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, lubricate moving parts, and keep equipment clean and free of debris. Troubleshooting: Monitor the forming process and adjust machine tonnage, pressure, and bend angles to correct issues such as material spring-back or distortion. Job Summary: As a 3rd Shift Hydraulic Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining hydraulic press brake machines to produce high-quality parts while adhering to all safety protocols and production schedules.
