What You'll Do Maintain production chemistry by completing chemical additions, solution make-ups, adjustments, and maintenance as directed by the Chemical Lab Manager. Perform batch treatments and production tank change-outs. Maintain chemical filtration systems throughout the production facility. Monitor chemical systems and help identify process conditions that may affect production or product quality. Perform weekly and monthly chemical inventories. Maintain chemical maintenance equipment in proper working condition. Receive, store, label, and handle incoming chemicals according to established procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and compliant chemical storage and maintenance areas. Complete required records, logs, inventories, and production documentation. Follow all safety procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and environmental regulations. Cross-train in hazardous waste and wastewater treatment operations. Provide department coverage as needed. Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities. Communicate chemical or equipment concerns before they cause production delays. Perform other duties as assigned.
